When you choose to register and log in to Miki Live using Google, Line, Facebook, X (Twitter), or a mobile phone number, we will collect the corresponding third-party platform information (such as OpenID and nickname) or your mobile phone number based on your authorization. Such information is collected to assist you in completing account creation, generating a dedicated Miki Live account for you, and providing related services.
Personal information refers to various types of information recorded electronically or otherwise that can identify a specific natural person, either independently or in combination with other information, or reflect the activities of a specific natural person. Personal information under this policy includes, but is not limited to, name, personal biometric information, address, contact details, communication records and content, account passwords, property information, commonly used device information, and transaction information.
Sensitive personal information refers to personal information that, once leaked, illegally provided, or misused, may endanger personal or property safety, and may easily cause damage to personal reputation, physical or mental health, or lead to discriminatory treatment. Sensitive personal information under this policy includes, but is not limited to, email addresses, various passwords (passcodes, security answers, digital certificates), communication records and content, personal health and physiological information, personal property information, bank account numbers, and transaction information.
Identity elements refer to information elements used by the product to identify you, such as your login name, password, SMS verification code, telephone number, mobile phone number, or identification number.
Non-personal information refers to information that has been technically processed (including but not limited to anonymization and de-identification) such that the processed information cannot identify your personal identity, either alone or in combination with other information, and cannot be restored. Such processed information does not constitute personal information in the legal sense. When you use our products, in order to ensure the normal operation of basic functions and services, you are required to agree that we may collect the following information:
Based on your specific actions during the installation and/or use of the software, we may receive and record information related to the device you use, including device model, operating system version, device settings, unique device identifiers, software list information, MAC address, IMEI information, device environment, and other software and hardware characteristic information, as well as device location–related information (including GPS location authorized by you, and sensor information such as WLAN access points, Bluetooth, and base stations).
When you use our services, we will automatically collect detailed information about your use and store it as service logs, including browsing, clicking and viewing, search queries, favorites, follows, and shares, content you publish, as well as IP address, browser type, telecommunications carrier, language, access date, and time.
You are required to provide a complete mobile phone number and verify your identity through an SMS or voice verification code.
If you log in through Facebook, Twitter, Google, Apple, or other third-party platforms, you are required to authorize us to obtain your public information (such as nickname and gender) and bind it to your product account.
You may voluntarily choose to provide information such as avatar, nickname, password, gender, hometown, and personal profile. Failure to provide such information will not affect the basic functions of the product.
Requires authorization to read from and write to external storage.
Used for QR code login, payment, photo/video capture and upload for sharing, as well as facial recognition in specific scenarios (subject to separate authorization and strict limitations on scope of use).
When you actively conduct live streaming or publish content, we will collect audio, video, text, and image information, and display your nickname, avatar, and published content.
We will request access to the camera, photo album, and microphone.
In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, when you publish live streaming content or use certain specific functions, you are required to provide real identity information, including sensitive personal information such as your name, mobile phone number, and identification number.
We will collect information related to the accounts you follow, records of likes, comments, shares, and data related to virtual gift tipping.
We will collect your search keywords and log records, and some of such information may be stored on your local device.
We will collect your device information and log information for the purpose of sending notifications such as live broadcast alerts, activity notifications, and check-in reminders. You may disable such notifications at any time through “Me – Settings.”
Virtual Assets:
We will record recharge data and gift-giving data.
When we intend to use personal information for purposes not specified in this Privacy Policy, or when we intend to use information collected for a specific purpose for another purpose, we will obtain your prior consent.
When you actively publish audio or video content, comments, images, or text, we will collect the corresponding audio, video, image, and text information, and display your nickname, avatar, and the content you publish.
When you publish audio or video content, images, or post comments, we will collect the information you publish and display your nickname, avatar, and published content.
When you use image or audio/video publishing functions, we will request authorization to access your camera, photo album, and microphone. If you refuse to grant such authorization, you will not be able to use these functions; however, this will not affect your normal use of other functions.
When you actively follow user accounts you are interested in and interact, comment, or share content with other accounts, we will collect the accounts you follow and display to you the content published by those accounts.
When you actively like, comment on, or share audio/video or image/text content you are interested in, we will collect the content of your likes, comments, or shares, and display or push notifications to the users whose content you liked or commented on.
When you actively use virtual assets to tip other users, we will collect your avatar, nickname, and tipping data, and display such information to other users.
When you use the search services of this product, some of your information (including but not limited to the following personal information) will be collected: your device information and log information, including the words or terms you search for, your browsing records and time, your search time, and frequency. We collect such information to quickly match relevant content for you and content you may be interested in, and also to improve our products and services.
We will not share or transfer your personal information to any third party unless we have obtained your prior authorization and consent, or unless the shared or transferred personal information has been de-identified and the receiving third party is unable to re-identify the corresponding natural person.
As our business continues to develop, we may undergo mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers, and your personal information may be transferred as a result. Prior to such changes, we will inform you of the relevant circumstances and continue to protect your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and security standards no lower than those required by this Privacy Policy, or require the successor to continue to protect your personal information. Otherwise, we will require the successor to re-obtain your authorization and consent.
Within the scope required or permitted by law, we may provide your personal information to third parties where it is necessary to protect the interests, property, or safety of Miki Live, its users, or the public from harm.
Circumstances Where Consent Is Exempted
Please understand that under the following circumstances, in accordance with laws, regulations, and national standards, we may share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information without obtaining your authorization or consent:
(1) Matters directly related to national security or national defense security;
(2) Matters directly related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;
(3) Matters directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, or enforcement of judgments;
(4) Situations where it is difficult to obtain your consent for the purpose of protecting your or other individuals’ vital lawful rights and interests such as life or property;
(5) Personal information that you have voluntarily disclosed to the public;
(6) Personal information collected from legally publicly disclosed sources, such as lawful news reports or government information disclosure channels.
Except for the disclosure of necessary account information in penalty announcements related to violations or fraudulent activities, we will not publicly disclose your personal information unless required by laws and regulations or with your explicit consent. When publicly disclosing personal information, we will adopt security protection measures that comply with industry standards.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, in order to implement specific functions, we have integrated the following third-party SDKs:

Payment Processing: Google, Apple, Payermax, PayPal payment SDKs. We do not directly access or store your bank card information;

Under the following circumstances, you may request that we delete your personal information, and we will complete the deletion within 15 business days:
(1) If our processing of personal information violates laws or regulations;
(2) If we collect or use your personal information without obtaining your consent;
(3) If our processing of personal information violates agreements with you;
(4) If you no longer use this platform or related services;
(5) If we no longer provide this platform or related services to you.
If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify entities that have obtained your personal information from us and require them to delete such information in a timely manner, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations or unless such entities have obtained your independent authorization. After you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete the corresponding information from backup systems, but we will delete such information during backup updates.

We operate within the territory of the People’s Republic of China, and the personal information we collect and generate during your use of our services is stored in Hong Kong.
